Questions

What do I get for free?

A free account includes Air Law (UK PPL) and FAA Regulations (US) in full, plus the first lesson of every other subject and the questions that go with it. No card needed.

Does Premium cover both the UK and US exams?

Yes. One subscription unlocks everything on both tracks, so you can switch between the UK PPL and the FAA private pilot syllabus at any time.

How much is it?

£5 a month (VAT included) for UK buyers, or $5 a month in the US. The annual plan is £40 / $40 a year, four months free. Prices in other countries are shown in your local currency at checkout, with any tax.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time, in the app: Profile → Plan and billing → Cancel subscription, with one confirmation. Premium renews automatically until you cancel; after cancelling you keep it until the end of the period you have paid for, you will not be charged again, and you can resume before then.

Can I get a refund?

Subscriptions aren't refundable, except where the law requires it or under the refund policy of Paddle, our merchant of record, which may grant a refund if you ask within 14 days of a payment. Premium starts straight away, and at checkout you agree to that, which ends the 14-day cancellation right UK and EU consumers otherwise have. Your rights if something is faulty are unaffected. See the refund policy.

Who handles the payment?

Paddle.com is our online reseller and the merchant of record for all our orders: it processes the payment (card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay), charges the right tax, sends your receipts and handles billing enquiries and returns. We never see your card details.

What happens if a payment fails?

Paddle retries it for a while and emails you. You keep Premium for 7 days while you update your payment method.
